Industry Open House Summer 2015
This past Thursday evening, May 14th, we put on our first open house of the year, and it was absolutely incredible. The entire team here would like to thank everyone who came through to show support and take interest in everything we're trying to do here at SweetSounds. We hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! It was a pleasure getting to meet so many new faces and reconnect with old ones. We were also very happy to finally announce that Mike "Kuz" Kuzoian will be making a home here as our Head Mix Engineer. Mike is a guy who we all strongly believe will be a huge asset for the studio as a whole moving forward.
Kuz has been producing, mixing and recording music for over a decade. Since his 2010 move to NY, he has spent time in some of the city's most notable studios; contributing to works by talent like Walé, J. Cole, OnCue, Just Blaze, Slaughterhouse, Common, Teyana Taylor, DJ Mustard, Ratking, A$AP Mob, Young Guru, Carnegie Hall, Mick, Terry Urban and more. Some of his most recent work includes Walé's "The Album About Nothing" and Common's Grammy nominated "Nobody's Smiling."
"I think that 'professional' sound people seek is way more tangible than they believe. I love showing them how good they can sound. I've been fortunate to learn from some of the best and I'm excited to continue putting those lessons to work at Sweet Sounds."
